Dr. Ron Scoville

Dr. Ron Scoville is the oldest of six children and grew up moving around the world in an Air Force family. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology in 2001 and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California in 2005. Dr. Ron joined the practice that same year and has been a cornerstone of Hillside Dental ever since.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ron enjoys racquetball, playing the piano, and watching his five children tumble and play sports. He and his wife Darcee have built a full and joyful life rooted in family and community.

Dr. David Scoville

Dr. David K. Scoville earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the USC School of Dentistry in 2015. He also completed a two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency and earned a master's degree in oral biology. Dr. David served six years as a dentist in the U.S. Army, stationed in Washington, D.C., North Carolina, South Korea, and Louisiana. He left the Army in 2021 to move closer to family and spend more time with his nieces and nephews.

Dr. Skyler Williams

Dr. Skyler Williams grew up in Taylorsville, Utah, and is thrilled to be back home serving the community that shaped him. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah and earned his dental degree from Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine, where he received advanced training in the latest dental technologies and modern patient care techniques.

After dental school, Dr. Williams practiced in Oklahoma, where he built lasting patient relationships and deepened his passion for comfortable, high-quality dental care. He and his wife welcomed two children during that chapter of their lives. Now back in Utah, Dr. Williams looks forward to exploring the outdoors with his family and serving patients at Hillside Dental with compassion and skill.

Dr. R. Kent Scoville

Dr. R. Kent Scoville graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology and Chemistry before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Following graduation, he served as a dental officer in the United States Air Force and completed an advanced education in general dentistry residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.

After completing his military service, Dr. Scoville founded Hillside Dental and Lomond View Dental, building a practice rooted in excellence and family values. He and his wife Linda have been married for over 45 years. Together they experienced more than 22 years of military life around the world and have been blessed with six children and thirteen grandchildren.

Marianne Jensen—Office Manager

Marianne Jensen has served as office manager at Hillside Dental for over 20 years. She is an expert in dental insurance benefits and works hard to help every patient get the most out of their coverage. Marianne is a familiar and trusted face who genuinely looks out for the people she serves.

Joann—Dental Hygienist

Joann has been a registered dental hygienist since 2013, bringing over a decade of clinical experience and a genuine passion for patient-centered care. She earned her RDH, BS from Idaho State University and is committed to providing thorough, personalized care tailored to each patient's unique oral health goals. Outside the office she loves reading, DIY projects, and hiking the trails with her husband, two kids, and their dog.

Sara Arrington—Nurse Practitioner

Sara is the medical director for our MedSpa treatments. She owns and practices at Heart and Soul Family Medicine in West Point, UT. She is passionate about making a positive impact on the health of those she serves.

Bekah Bechel—Dental Assistant

Bekah is a valued member of our clinical team, supporting patients and providers with care and professionalism at every appointment.

Miriam—Dental Assistant

Miriam recently completed her business degree, and we are excited to welcome her to the Hillside Dental team. She brings fresh energy and enthusiasm to every patient interaction.

Erica Mendez—Front Desk

Erica Mendez brings more than 10 years of experience in healthcare and dental settings to our front office team at Lomond View. She is passionate about helping patients feel welcomed and supported from the moment they walk through the door. Erica enjoys building relationships with patients, assisting with scheduling and insurance questions, and making every visit run as smoothly as possible. Originally from Idaho, she is now enjoying everything Utah has to offer.
